As of 2013, UIS classifies the school structure in Jordan as having a 6-4-2 structure. Because this is not in alignment with the nationally-defined school system structure of 10-2, UIS indicators do not reflect the nature of the official education system. EPDC extractions of household survey data for Jordan also treat the school system as having a 6-4-2 structure. Care should be taken when interpreting UIS and EPDC data for Jordan.
Among other data sources, unique EPDC data collections for Jordan include administrative data from the Department of Statistics (2008 - 2010, 2012), household survey data from DHS (2002, 2007, 2009), indicators derived from UIS data, and learning outcomes data including TIMSS (2003, 2007, 2011), and EGRA (2012).
